Our Story

ANJU APPAREL is a brand born in NYC by two Korean American cousins, Jenn & Nicole. We always loved streetwear but also wanted to find a way to lean in to our Korean heritage. At the time, we struggled to find many brands that bridged these two interests so we started ANJU APPAREL as our creative and tangible expression as we learn more about our culture, history, the language, and of course the food!

ICYDK....what does "Anju" mean?

The word "Anju" or 안주  is the bar snacks you have while drinking and is a prevalent part of Korean food and nightlife culture. 

To us, we associate "Anju" with bonding with friends and family, social connections, and at the end of the day - simply having fun :)
